This course introduces the fundamental elements of the Portuguese language and Brazilian culture and aims to provide students with the language skills that will allow them to communicate and survive in everyday life. Daily vocabulary and basic structures will be introduced and practiced through relevant role-plays. By the end of this course, students should be able to talk about themselves and their routines, ask for and give relevant information, and list events of their immediate past.
