The objective of this course is to introduce students to using intermediate techniques and functions in Microsoft Excel that are relevant in a professional context (and often come up in interviews). The course will allow students to become more familiar with the software, improve their data organization and presentation skills, and become proficient with the most commonly used functions. The course will cover basic to intermediate level functions and introduce graphing using examples. Students will have many opportunities to practice using the functions that are covered and ask questions. Basic familiarity with Excel is expected from the students before the first day of class.
