Spatial data is all around us; we use it, and generate it every day, but most of us are not sure how to leverage it in our workplaces. This course will give you foundational spatial thinking skills as well as provide an introduction to ArcGIS Professional. This course is designed with the view that choices happen in space and time and that previously these decisions have been left implicit as opposed to explicit. Considering spatial variables reduces uncertainty and cost, and provides a nuance that improves decision making at every level. This course will enable students to get over the initial learning curve of ArcGIS Professional and provide introductory geospatial thinking skills. Whether you use these skills directly as a technical specialist or as another executive you will end up more spatially literate and carry these skills into whatever industry you find yourself. Instruction by Walker Kosmidou-Bradley.
