This course is a team-intensive session focused on helping students develop their own influencing and contributing style and capacity while also emphasizing a conceptual understanding of how to build and lead teams, work groups and organizations in diverse settings. The course includes interactive exercises and simulations that allow students to not only learn theories and concepts, but reflect and internalize the information and directly apply knowledge and skills in a dynamic, ambiguous and real-life environment. Students should be prepared to be active and moving around the classroom for hands-on, low-physical team challenge activities. Full participation will require students to also share thoughts and reflections with classmates and provide feedback to others.
