This non-credit professional skills course uses experiential learning and case studies to help students understand how entrepreneurial and social innovation approaches address complex global challenges. Students explore how ideas are developed, tested through customer and stakeholder discovery, and refined across diverse sectors and regions. The Global Entrepreneurship component introduces how global venture ecosystems function, how investors and foundations assess ideas, and how value propositions and pitches are structured. Students build practical skills in teamwork, leadership, and navigating innovation within complex organizations. The Social Innovation component focuses on mission-driven organizations addressing systemic issues. Students examine successful social enterprises and social innovators and develop a final pitch that integrates social impact with long-term sustainability.
