The Academic Writing Sessions teach advanced strategies needed to produce effective academic papers for a graduate program in international studies. The sessions cover all stages of the writing process: planning, writing, and editing. Students may also sign up for individual consults to review their course papers (only writing aspects are discussed). The consults guide students through the writing stages and help students to apply the skills learned in the sessions. The goal is for students to become autonomous editors of their own work, at SAIS and in their future careers.
