Presented within the context of the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Supply Chain Risk Management Practices for Federal Information Systems and Organizations, students will learn how to identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks while considering the geopolitical levers of control available to policymakers. Taught as an introductory course without any requirement for prior knowledge of supply chain management (SCRM), the class will provide students with an opportunity to learn more about the intricate systems that govern the global flow of goods, ideas, natural resources and intellectual property.
