This course teaches participants how to write country risk reports for corporate and institutional clients. The goal is to build high quality, concise country risk reports aimed at busy executives. The topics included are: chosen country information, targeted readership, scope of report based on the above, key on-line sources, topics covered in reports, macro-economic risk, financial risk, political risk, business/operating risk. All the documents should be written for policy and/or business decision-makers with little time, i.e. concise and with a focus on essential knowledge. The goal is to give students tools to synthesize lots of material in order to produce high quality, readable country/regional risk analysis.
